One tiny drop of water hovers in the wind as it swoops from the clouds above and suddenly crashes onto the ground. Here, it joins forces with the dew in the grass, the morning mist, and the added rain from the sky. Onward it flows, entering the tiny stream of melting snow. Driven by gravity, it travels down. Always down. Pushed by other drops behind it, dragged along with the ones in front, hooking itself onto other streams of water heading in the same direction. Thus, it ends up as a part of the small river that enters the salty water of The Fjord Of Light, “Lysefjorden”.
But, it does not end here. The Fjord is in movement, too. It flows onward through several fjord branches and straits before it finally drains into “Boknafjorden”, the largest fjord in Rogaland, which has an open connection to the North Sea - To the world beyond. This is how I visualize the journey of Aurora.
Impatient? 😉

The Aurora Journey App
The “Aurora Journey Guide” app
For five years now, I have collected stories about Aurora’s adventures to fame. Stories I have shared, and some I have saved to be shared later. Just as the water gives the river its momentum, Aurora is gaining more and more attention. This is attracting more Warriors and Weirdos to her fan-base, which again leads to the numbers of stories growing way over my head. Drowning me, almost. It’s getting hard to keep track of it all, and it’s sometimes difficult to remember what stories have been told - and where to find them.
Well… I have found a solution to that. The Queendom needs a library. I know there is great collections of information placed elsewhere. The FanDom Wiki and The Warriors and Weirdos Forum are two of the most extensive sources to be found, though I consider them more as archives. In there you will find everything. All the facts and links you’ll ever need - every source. But, it’s not a place for stories, so I built a library. A source for true stories, blended with facts and credits. My cooperation with Fabrice has been very valuable, as he has shared a lot of his research with me. Remember to give him a thanks.
Well - its a fully functional, digital library - and I name it:
“The Aurora Journey App.”
What is the content of this app?
Short answer: A lot!
I am not going to give you all the information here, but some features I wish to present is:
An overview of Aurora’s albums and songs, her babies - with credits to featured artists who have made the songs possible.
Quotes are trickled out on various pages. The ones relevant for a song will show up on their pages. The quotes are gathered from a big collection, and they are picked randomly (but relevant) throughout the app. Click on them to find their source and context.
Timelines. Various collections of events from Aurora’s journey, sorted by date, year or tags.
Sources to news and information, links to relevant newsletters and built-in YouTube-content.
Links to other community sources.
And more… go explore….
By the way - I will keep updating the content, but there will be no update-request for you. The “app” is an online service by Glide Apps, so it’s not really something you download and install.
What makes this app different?
This is an app made possible by other fans. No-one within the team surrounding Aurora is involved, not her, not her management, and not any record companies. This app is made by a fan for other fans to use. The collections and information you find within the app are things I have chosen as interesting or exciting. My hope is that you share the same interest as me.
The app is free to use, and it requires no login or sharing of information. It’s placed at an online service, Glade Apps, which means that the install you make is basically a shortcut placed on your home screen. It doesn't take up any memory, and you don’t have to update it. The changes and added information will happen without you needing to update it all the time.
All the content is free to use as you wish. No written permission is needed. Even the pictures and quotes are linked with sources, and are free to use as long as you credit the rightful owner. I have strayed away from official pictures, and that’s for copyright reasons.
How to use the app?
The app has two buttons visible on the front-page: The Home-button and the Song Stories button (look at the image on top of this letter). There is also a visible menu button (three lines) which leads to the menu shown right above here.
I have used the river metaphor all over the place, hence the strange titles. “The Queendom Chronicles” refers to news that are older, and no longer show up on the Home-page. “Echoes from the river” refers to the flow of time, and here you will find various timelines to visualize Aurora’s journey.
Within the Song Stories you will find related quotes, randomly picked from a table hidden for you. I haven’t found a good layout for all the quotes yet, so it will stay like that for now. The quotes are clickable, and leads to source and context for it.
Anyway - you all know how to use an app. Just click around, both on texts and images. Play around and get familiar with it 😊.

Community Spotlight
aurora.spain.fans on Instagram
Imagine if we could place a fan community in every country of this planet. That would be a dream come true 💚. We already have some fairly active fan communities in France, Philippines, Brazil, Mexico and Norway. I believe we have a lot more than those, but I can’t remember at the moment. Poland? Italy?
Anyways. We have a new fan community based in Spain. Its a cooperative account with multiple administrators. That is a good thing, because it may enhance the possibility that the account will endure over time. Here is how they present themselves:
We are a Spanish community dedicated to the Norwegian singer AURORA, where you can find:
Breaking News: Be the first to know about concerts, album releases, interviews, and any other AURORA-related event.
A place to connect: Share your thoughts, theories, and opinions about her songs and music videos with other warriors.
Artistic Expression: Showcase your creative talent by sharing your fan art, AURORA-inspired writing, and other works of art that reflect your passion for the artist's music. Let your imagination run wild and share your unique vision.
Events and Activities: Participate in contests, creative challenges, and special events designed to celebrate the music and spirit of AURORA.
We look forward to hearing from you all. 🤗🤗🤗🫀💧🗡️

Fabrice’s Corner
Fabrice has been busy as always. Lately he has made and posted a whole lot of Aurora’s original tracks, but in two different versions: One without vocals (so you can enjoy an instrumental version of her music), and one with just vocals (so you can listen to her beautiful voice without distractions). You will find the playlist here.
As always:
Keep an eye on his community page for the latest Aurora uploads on YouTube
Final words
Phew. Making an app is a lot of work, but I hope it’s worth the trouble. I will add a lot more information over time, and I still have a bunch of Song Stories to write. Let me know what you think of the app, and if there is anything missing, failing or mistaken information.
Have a day💚
